　　报告人简介：

　Professor Graham Plastow received his PhD in 1981 from the Department of Genetics at University of Leicester. He was then a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Kent at Canterbury. Dr Plastow has more than 25 years of experience on managing R&D in the agri-food sector. He was, until 2006, Chief Technology Officer of Sygen International, one of the largest animal breeding companies in the world. He has served on the Governing Council of the Roslin Institute and the board of the Biotechnology Research and Development Corporation (USA). He joined the Alberta Bovine Genomics Program in May 2007 and he is the current Chief Executive Officer for the organization. Dr. Plastow’s main research interest is the application of genomics in farm animals.
