报告人简介：

David Masters 教授 （澳大利亚西澳大学）

Professor Masters worked as a scientist and research leader with CSIRO and the University of Western Australia for 25 years. Between 1985 and 1996 he worked on a collaborative research project in Northern China. He has an international research reputation in livestock production in saline areas, mineral, amino acid and protein nutrition, wool production and livestock systems. His research experience has resulted in over 200 journal, conference and technical articles and presentations of more than 100 industry and scientific seminars and workshops across Australia and overseas. As a research manager for the CSIRO and the Salinity Cooperative Research Centre he demonstrated an ability to implement research programs that address industry problems through the application of good science. Professor Masters has experience in the training and supervision of young scientists and postgraduate students and is formally trained in research management, economics, financial evaluation, risk analysis and conflict resolution in addition to agriculture. Professor Masters operates as a Livestock Systems Scientist and is an Honorary Research Fellow with CSIRO and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia.

Professor Masters is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Animal Production.
